The first live virtual tour coverage in Malaysia provided by 360 VR Shots.
1 June, 2011 - 360 VR SHOTS was the official Virtual Tour Provider for the Rentap Futsal Tournament organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and co-organized by Kosmo publication. The tournament, held in conjunction with the One Million Youth Gathering in Putrajaya, featured more than 1600 teams participating in the biggest futsal event in the country.
The event was the listed in the Malaysia Book of Records by playing non-stop for 78 hours, day and night, from 26 to 29 May, 2011.
We provided a daily "live" updated coverage during the 4-day tournament featuring players in action, surrounding environments and other on-going events in the venue. The virtual tour was called "Panorama Maya Rentap Futsal."
This is the first time anything like this was ever done in Malaysia and we are proud to be the first.
We were given a booth at the venue to showcase our virtual tour by projecting onto a big screen. Among the VIPs who visited the event were Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Muhyideen Yassin. Among the images captured in the virtual tour coverage is a 360 panorama of the Prime Minister taking a penalty kick to officiate the event.
